Castlevania II - Simon's Quest : First Part, go to Berkeley Mansion

Day 0, noon, the adventure begins for Simon Belmont. If you are not comfortable with the game, dates, times, ... go on the tutorial.

You are in the village of Jova, first village of the game (obviously). Before leaving the village, you will need to buy holy water and white crystal. The 2 sellers are close to each other, completely to the right of the village, on the middle floor. Just go right and go down to meet them but you do not have enough money. The game begins with a small phase of pseudo-leveling. You can buy holy water by taking the right door then you will have to leave the village and spend your first night outside to get 50 hearts. The night is long and the villagers are not available during this period, kill as many enemies as possible, it will make you a little bit of money in advance. Finally, the sun reappears. Go talk to the person selling the white crystal and buy it.

This may not be how you will have the good end but here is a password for day 1 at noon with :

1. the Thorn Whip, the White Crystal and the Holy Water. Level 0
2. the thorn whip, the dagger dague, the White Crystal and the Holy Water. Level 1
3. the morning Star, the White Crystal and the Holy Water. Level 2 (this one was hard to obtain :)).

Your essential equipment in full, we must now join the Berkeley Manor leaving the village on the right. You then cross a forest, a large bridge over the water and a small swamp. Do not go down the big staircase that follows and continue your way to the right. Shortly after this half-marshy forest is the entrance to the first dungeon of the game : Berkeley Mansion .
