Zelda Ocarina Of Time on N64 - Kokiri Forest : Link's Awakening

Leaving your house, you see Saria who is surprised and happy to see that you finally have a fairy. She seems to be very attached to you and urges you to go to see the Deku Tree. Unfortunately, Mido blocks your path to the Deku Tree. He won't let you past until you find a sword and a shield.

For the sword, you have to climb in front of Mido's house and cross the small passage behind the barriers by pressing "A". Search the area you arrive in (watch out for the boulder, and follow it after it passes). You will find rupees and a large chest. Open it to find the Kokiri Sword.

For the Deku shield, just earn 40 rupees and go to the merchant (the building with the red roof). Rupees are everywhere. Cut the shrubs, search the tall grass, go on the roofs, break the jars at people's homes, open the chests at Mido's, jump across the river without falling, or search the mini "labyrinth" of the Kokiri sword to find them. Go and see the video if you have any problems.

Talk to people in the village. They will give you lots of advice on explaining the buttons, the handling of Link, the fairy, the sword, etc. Visit houses because they contain hearts, rupees, or maybe some other cool stuff.

When you are done, return to Mido who will let you pass if you have equipped the sword and shield. Kill the carnivorous plants (Withered Deku Baba) to obtain Deku sticks. I advise you to fill up with sticks by killing a lot of plants. Follow the path to reach the Deku tree.

The Deku tree is worried because he knows that you have had horrible nightmares for some time. He explains to you that the dark forces are growing and that he has been cursed. The tree needs you to free him. To do so, enter his mouth to destroy the evil that has taken hold of him.

You must now continue the adventure. You can also get my file (1Kb) made with Project64. You will have to copy it into the "Save" folder then launch the game.
